What is Vacuum Finance?

Vacuum Finance ($VAC) is a decentralized application built on the Ethereum blockchain. It’s a Vacuum (with a DeFi twist!) on and for the blockchain we all love, that will help clean up DUST in your wallet on Layer 1.

We all know that Household chores are an unavoidable part of our everyday life, but taken-for-granted technologies like the humble vacuum cleaner have made those chores somewhat manageable.

Fortunately for us, we are living in a crazy world where even DUST on a blockchain can be valuable, so doing “household” chores is a bit more incentivised than in real Life. Until now, however, high gas prices on Ethereum Mainnet have reduced the profitability of cleaning up Dust by a lot. As a result DUST is accumulating on many EOAs, which is bad for Ethereum users but also terrible for Ethereum itself! For users it’s networth that cannot be accessed, as high blockspace demand made cleaning up DUST by swapping into ETH unprofitable. But just letting the DUST sit in the EOA leads to state bloat, which is bad for Ethereum in itself.

Taking inspiration from the humble vacuum cleaner that positively changed the life of many households we are happy to introduce Vacuum Finance.

Vacuum Finance will manage dust on Ethereum in an automated, economically efficient way.
